Keratin Cure Cure Locks Treatment is formaldehyde free and is actually a deep conditioning treatment that coats hair fibers with a filler, such as keratin, Glycolic Acids, and a powerful array of botanical organic oils. The treatment fills in any broken or thin areas on each hair strand to make hair appear more full and lustrous. Gylcolic & Elixycure ingredients complex, which makes up the “Botox” part of the treatment.

All labels are plastic shrink wrap fit. There is no reason to remove the plastic label. Keratin Cure Gold & Honey is never packaged in pre-printed bottles.

How long does the Curelocks treatment last?

How Long Do the Effects Last? CureLocks hair treatment generally lasts between two to four months and is recommended to be reapplied afterwards.

You must use sulfate-free shampoos, such as Gold & Honey Daily Shampoo and Conditioner.

The Science – Ingredients

Deonized Water: The purest for of Water. Water is primarily used as a solvent in cosmetics and personal care products in which it dissolves many of the ingredients that impart skin benefits.
Glyocyloyl Carbosistene act as a crosslinker just like formaldehyde. The difference however is that it is a weaker crosslinker than formaldehyde and it is not a gas. The crosslinker can disrupt the disulfide bonds, the ionic interactions as well as the hydrogen bonds by interacting with the natural amino acids of the hair. It then acts as a bridge between the hair’s protein and the added keratin. Usually the process is heat activated. The low pH (1.5-2) of oxoacetamide carbocysteine helps to disrupt the curls in hair.
Gylcolic Acid improves the protection and manageability by conditioning, moisturizing, strengthening while also preventing breakage in hair as well as for bleached hair. Helps to create smooth, flat hair follicles.
Hyaluronic Acid is a substance that is naturally occurring in the body, mainly as a fluid in the eyes and joints, but it is also a frequently used ingredient in skin products. And it can also be used to promote a healthy scalp and increased hair growth.
Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a mild yet effective ingredient known for its de-tangling and hair thickening properties. Because this ingredient directly deposits onto the hair follicle to smooth out the cuticles, it’s highly regarded for its conditioning abilities.
Cetyl Alcohol is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations.
Cyclopentasiloxane when applied to the skin and hair, it gives a silky and slippery feeling to the touch and acts a mild water repellent by forming a protective barrier on the skin. It can also fill in fine lines and wrinkles, giving the face a temporary “plump” look.
Cetrimonium Chloride is a cationic compound and conditioning agent is mainly used to prevent static and buildup in hair. It cleanses and eliminates odor by preventing the growth of microorganisms and enabling water to mix with dirt and rinse away.

Disodium EDTA is a water-soluble, lightweight silicone that provides very little buildup. It is often used in conditioning shampoos. … Dimethicone is sometimes referred to as a silicone oil. Dimethicone coats hair, providing great shine and conditioning to the hair. Edta is found to be effective in removing pollution deposits from the hair and scalp.

Instructions

(PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED FOR BEST RESULTS. DO STEP 5 BEFORE FLAT IRONING)

–Shake Bottle Well – Formula is a creamy liquid

1. Wash the hair twice with Gold & Honey Clarifying Shampoo. Rinse well and towel dry. Note: For very tight curls & virgin hair: Leave the Gold & Honey Clarifying Shampoo on the hair from 7-10 minutes to ensure that the hair cuticles are ready to receive the treatment.
2. Blow-dry hair with hair dryer with moderate heat to 80%.
3. Apply Keratin Cure Gold & Honey Cure Locks with a color brush section by section 1/4 inch / 6cm from root. Do not over apply.. Comb the solution through the hair entirely.
4. Leave the treatment for 30 minutes for normal hair, 50 minutes for wavy/frizzy hair, 55-75 minutes for thick very curly hair..
5. Rinse hair thoroughly and completely. Apply Gold & Honey Deep Masque and leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse out completely.
6. Towel dry hair well. Apply Keratin Cure Shine & Cure Hair Serum sparingly throughout the hair.
7. Blow-dry hair 100% using your hair straightening techniques.
8. Use Keratin Cure Titanium straightening iron at 440°F/230°C.Iron each section 4-7 times to properly seal the treatment into the hair cuticles. Iron very small portions of hair for best results. (You are ironing clean hair! Use discretion on the hair type. Fine hair may not require the hair to be ironed more than 3-4 times. Please start the iron at 400°F/ 180°C and watch the texture.)

*Keratin Treatments are a cumulative process, the more frequently you maintain the treatment, the longer it will last in your hair and the better the results. Please advise the client to maintain their treatment with the
corresponding post treatment Shampoos & Conditioners which will balance proper pH levels and protects hair color.
